Home prices have outpaced incomes, mortgage rates erode buying power, and cash buyers and institutional investors keep outbidding everyone else. Ownify's zero-debt ownership program rebuilds the path to owning a home by putting buyers and investors on the same team.
How Ownify works
- Personalized plan. We build a personalized path to ownership for you, combining the best building blocks — mortgage, down payment assistance, and Ownify's fractional ownership program.
- Cash purchase. Ownify buys your target home with a cash offer and lower brokerage fees, typically saving you 4–5% upfront. We fractionalize the home into 10,000 bona-fide shares (we call them "bricks"). You contribute 2% to the initial purchase.
- Equity transfer. Ownify investors contribute the remaining 98% of the capital required to close — as a co-investment, not a mortgage. Over five years, you buy bricks from the investors and grow your equity to roughly 10%.
- Buy out the remaining bricks. At the end of the five-year term, you buy the remaining bricks from Ownify at fair market value, usually with a conventional mortgage.
